How to use Quick Registration

Hey there! When you're booking an appointment over the phone or just walking in, you don't want to spend too much time filling out forms. But, to make sure everything is compliant, there are usually a lot of fields to fill out for patient registration. So, how can you make sure you're following the rules while still registering patients quickly? The answer is to use "Quick registration"!


You need to enable it under Calendar Preferences.


Once enabled, whenever you want to register a patient from the Calendar you get to see the quick register screen.


You can ONLY have name, sex, email, mobile included as part of the quick registration. You control which of the fields are mandatory via clinical preferences.


Patients that are partially filled out will be shown with an exclamation icon on the Calendar.


You need to complete the patient demographics before a consult can start. In case you try to start a consult with a patient whose details are not yet complete, you will see a prompt in the patient's EMR.
