How to setup your favourite Drug Protocols in EMR
In order to setup favorite Drug Protocols:
1. Go to Patient | Search and open a Test Patient. The Patient’s chart will open up in a new window.
2. Once the Patient’s Chart is open, scroll down and click on the Treatment+ button | Treatment will appear on the right, | click on the star button beside the chosen drug, for example, Zaroxolyn.
Note: You may have renamed Rx to Medications or Treatment.
3. A new window will open up that lets you create a Protocol for Zaroxolyn. Under Set Protocol, type in the required fields | Save.
4. Repeat this for every medication for which you want a protocol. Once done, go back to any patient | Treatment+ | all the drug protocols will be listed there with a yellow star icon. When prescribing the Rx, it gets added to the Current Visit with protocol filled out.
