# What is the function of the various Permissions in HR

Let’s you manage attendance for staff members.

**Manage Self Attendance:** Lets you manage your check in and check out times. Can be given to all staff.

**Manage Attendance for others also:** Lets you manage attendance for everyone in the clinic. Can be given to Clinic Manager.

  
**Edit Past Attendance:** Lets you go back and set attendance in the past. Should be given to Clinic Manager only.
