# How to set the Selling Price of an Inventory Item where batching is not enabled

These steps are for an Inventory Item where you have not enabled Batching.  
**a.** Go to **Inventory** and Search **for Inventory Item from the Inventory List and click to open inventory details.**

**2.** Select the appropriate Tax Rate and then put in the _Unit buying price before tax_. The _Buying price after tax_ is automatically calculated. Similarly, enter the _Selling Price before Tax_ and the _Selling Price after Tax_ is automatically calculated.
