# How to search for Patient specific Documents

There are multiple ways in which you can search for a Document.

**OPTION 1. From Inside the Patient's Chart**

Documents specific to a patient can also be accessed by opening the Patient’s Chart and on the summary section, going to **Past EMR| Files.**

**OPTION 2.** **From Inside the Document Manager**

Goto Document Manager, and click Patient Documents. Search for the Patient, and click **View Docs.** Now search for the document you are looking for.
