# How to Reset a Patient Portal Password

In order to Reset a Patient Portal Password:

**1**. Select a **Patient** and open **Patient Details.**

**2**. Scroll to the bottom of the page to **Access Patient Portal** and click on **Reset Password**, the Patient will automatically receive an email with a temporary Password.

**3**. The Patient can log in to Clinicea with the temporary password | then click on **Change Password**

**4**. A Change **Password Window** opens. The patient enters the desired password and clicks on **Save**. The password has been changed.
