# How to create Clinical Groups using Tools

In order to create Clinical Groups:

**1.** Go to **Tools** | **Clinical Groups** | **+Add New.**

**2**. A **Clinical Group Detail** window will open | enter **Clinical Group Name** | select a **Clinical Section** from the **drop-down menu.**

Select **Type** from the **drop-down menu** | **Applies to Gender**, select from the **drop-down menu.**

Add **Item Parameters** by clicking on **+Add Parameter**, **Search Item Parameters** window will open | click on the **+button** beside the Item Parameter name | **Save**.

For example, Liver Tests has been saved as a Clinical Group.

**3.** You can click on the item parameter name to edit the details of the parameter.

While adding multiple values through **Item Parameter** | **Type**(Dropdown) | **Display List** you have to make sure that you are not using “comma” as a separator as this would not allow you to save the values.

**4**. Once Saved, the Clinical Group has been created. To view, go back to **Tools** | **Clinical Groups** and **search** for Liver Tests.
