# How to Create and Redeem Promotion Coupons
Promotions can enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Here’s how you can create and redeem promotion coupons:

# Creating a Promotion Coupon

1. **Navigate to Promotions**
* Go to **Tools** → **Promotions**

* and click on **Add Promotions**.

2. **Enter Promotion Details**
* Provide a **Promotion Name**. and optionally add a **Description **

* Enable the **Create Coupons** toggle and Set up logic for Coupon Code like **Prefix**, **Minimum number** of Coupon, and  **Maximum number** of Coupon. Also upload the **Coupon image**.

3. **Set the Discount**
* Choose whether the discount is based on **Amount** or **Percentage**.

* For example, select **Percentage** and specify the discount for **Services**, **Packages**, or **Products**.

4. **Define Availability**
* Specify when the promotion is available:
* **Every day** or only on selected days.

5. **Save the Promotion**
* Click **Save** to finalize and generate the promotion coupon.
* Here is the print view of your **Coupon**. You can email this to your printer or designer to get coupon collateral made.

# Redeeming a Coupon

1. **Create a Bill**
* Navigate to **Financials** → **New Bill**.

* Select the **Customer** for whom the bill is being created.

* Choose the **Practitioner**.

2. **Add Items and Apply Discount**
* Add the required items or services to the bill.

* Click on **Add Discount** and enter the **Coupon Code**.

* Click **Apply Coupon** to apply the discount.

3. **Save the Bill**
* Once the coupon is applied, click **Save** to finalize the bill.

# Important Note on Coupon Usage
* Each coupon code can only be used once.
* If you try to reuse a redeemed coupon, you will see a message: *“ **The Coupon Code 'EOY3' has already been redeemed**.”
