# How to Copy notes from an earlier Patient Visit

Often when recording a visit, you can save time by simply copying the notes from an earlier visit. This is a big-time saver as then you just need to edit the bits that have changed and click save to complete the visit. Let us have a look at how:

**1.** Select a Patient and open up the **Patient Chart.**

**2.** Go to **Notes** Section under **Medical Summary** | find the visit you want to copy and click on **Create a Copy**.

This copies all details from the previous visit to the empty fields in the Case Sheet. Click on Save and you are done.
