# How to Convert a Quotation in Clinicea

# **🔁How to Convert a Quotation in Clinicea**
In Clinicea, you can create a **quotation or recommended plan** for patients using:
* Individual **services and retail products**
* A **custom package**
* A **pre-defined package**

Once a quotation is created, follow these steps to convert it into a bill or package.

# 🔍 Step-by-Step: Convert a Quotation
1. **Navigate to the quotation**
Go to **Financials → Search → Quotations**.

2. **Open the quotation**
Locate and click on the relevant quotation.
3. **Click “Convert to Quotation”**
This will bring up a popup as shown below:

4. **Choose from the two options:**
* ✅**Convert to Bill** 
                         *Use this option if the items are already completed.*
                         This will immediately generate a bill for the listed items in the quotation.
* 📦**Convert to Package** 
                         *Use this option if the items are yet to be completed.*
                         This will create a treatment package that can be tracked over multiple visits.
5. **Click “Cancel”** if you do not want to proceed.


# 🔧 System Preference Note
There is a **system preference** available that allows the clinic to automatically **convert all quotations to packages**.
If this preference is enabled for your clinic, the above screen (with "Convert to Bill" or "Convert to Package") will **not appear** — the quotation will go directly into a package.
