# How to bill a Package Item from Appointment

**_To bill the patient for the first package item from the package, through the appointment screen directly;_**

**1.** Click on the **$ button of the appointment** which is created.

**2.** A **New Bill** window will open, the service items will automatically appear on the bill | **Enter Paid Amount** | select **Payment Mode** | **Save.**

**3. Appointment Details** will re-open and the **$button** will automatically change color to green to indicate that the patient has been billed.
