# How to assign a New Package to the Patient from Appointments

To assign a new package to a patient directly from appointments:

**1.** Go to the **Calendar** and schedule an appointment by clicking on an available **time slot.**

**2. Appointment Details** window will open | search and select a **Patient** or click on **+** to add a new patient**.**

**3.** Once the patient is selected, click on **Select Services** | a new **Bill Items** window will open | click on **Packages** | select a **Package** by clicking on the **+button** beside the **package name** | **Save.**

**4.** A scheduled appointment will appear on the calendar screen, along with a package sign.
